Q4 2020 Round-Up: Top Virtual Fitness iOS Apps in Latin America

As the year 2020 wrapped up, the virtual fitness industry saw varied trends across the top applications on the iOS platform in Latin America. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the performance of these apps during the fourth quarter.

Zepp Life (Formerly MiFit) maintained a steady increase in weekly active users, climbing from around 596K at the start of the quarter to over 647K by the end. Downloads peaked in the third week of December with approximately 36K, although the overall trend for the quarter showed a rise from 17K to 18K.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a notable dip to $26K in late October and a rebound to just over $29K by mid-December. The app's downloads decreased over the quarter, from 23K to around 16K, while weekly active users saw an uptick from 327K to 359K.

Kompanion: At Home Workouts showed a remarkable spike in downloads, jumping from around 4K to nearly 40K in late November. Revenue followed an upward trend, with a notable increase to $3.5K in mid-December. Weekly active users reflected the download surge, rising from 3K to around 35K before dipping to 6K by the quarter's end.

FunDo Pro saw a steady increase in weekly active users, from 21K to nearly 28K in the third week of December before settling at around 22K. Download numbers showed a similar pattern with a peak of 16K in the same period.

Home Workout - No Equipments presented a mixed trend with a slight decrease in weekly active users from 125K to 119K. Revenue saw an overall decline from $2K to $1.7K, while downloads varied, peaking at 12K in mid-October and ending the quarter at around 10K.
